Leah brings a wealth of experience in proposal and grant writing and proposal management to a broad range of clients in both the public (federal, state, local) and private sectors. A recovering public relations professional, she’s repurposed her storytelling and writing skills for the proposal and grant world. She leverages her abilities to root out compelling stories and the key value propositions, discriminators, and winning themes that make for a winning proposal. As a proposal manager, she’s a master at herding cats and stays focused on team building, responsiveness, and compliance all with the goal of winning the business. 

A native Texan, Leah is a graduate of the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Radio-TV-Film. She also holds a graduate certificate in Technical Communications from the University of North Texas and is certified at the APMP Foundation level and holds Shipley Business Winning accreditation. Her career has taken her from Silicon Valley to Boston and around the globe finally landing back in Austin where she resides with her British husband and three cats – Polly, Ferdinand, and Girlfriend.
